01 About

About

Kevin Khlom

I'm a program manager. For the last ten-plus years I've led end-to-end delivery on complex, high-visibility programs across aerospace, semiconductor, and manufacturing — business cases, budgets, risk registers, and the executive conversations that come with them.

What I care about is the gap between engineering, leadership, and the factory floor. Those three rarely describe the same problem the same way, and a lot of delay lives in that translation. So I close it — with governance where that helps, and with tooling where it doesn't. Lately that means building the intake, triage, and KPI systems myself, increasingly with AI in the loop.

    GFO Project Manager

    Jan 2026 – Present 8 mos

Lead end-to-end delivery of the GFO intake platform, partnering with IT and internal customers from business case through launch to replace verbose form and capture field-rep supplier engagement across 5 regions.

    • Own the intake and triage backlog for digital and data-analytics programs, prioritizing requests and enhancements per quarter against business-operations and supplier-risk objectives.
    • Serve as on-site recovery project manager for supply chain's highest-risk supplier — an executive-sponsored, high-visibility effort that involved lean practices to maximize production output.
    • Advise supplier leadership on executive communication strategy, adapting technical messaging for conciseness.

    GFO Organizational Transformation

Lead an enterprise digital transformation program aligning a suite of tools to the GFO organization's target operating model which included a governance team and a digital development team.

    • Apply systems thinking to connect people, process, and technology, designing the system architecture to meet current and future business needs with adaptability built in.
    • Defined the program's measures of success and built the GFO intake form to establish KPI tracking, giving leadership first-time visibility into request volume and disposition efforts of field reps.
    • Implemented automation across the GFO triage system (auto-emailer, intake-to-triage handoff) using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
    • Run requirements-gathering and user acceptance testing workshops with regional teams and external SMEs and guided development requirements with the development team.

    Work Movement Project Manager

    Dec 2023 – Jan 2026 2 yrs 2 mos

Owned risk registers for work movement programs, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks with internal and external stakeholders ahead of program impact.

    • Integrated timelines, milestones, and cross-program dependencies for transitions between internal and external manufacturing facilities.
    • Assessed supplier manufacturing capability for prospective transfers across sites, informing make-versus-buy trade-off decisions.

    787 Risk Mitigation

    May 2024 – Dec 2024 8 mos

Led a risk-mitigation initiative on the 787 line, assessing supplier paint and chemical quality approval processes and identifying process gaps before they created schedule impact.

    • Integrated the supplier's approval process into newly implemented supplier lab, aligning color chip gaps between labs.
    • Queried the fab database to monitor approval health and redirected sub-tier shipments across sites to level-load both facilities.
